Malandela’s Guest House

This converted farmhouse allows a limited number of guests to be part of the Malandela’s experience. Offering eight en suite uniquely decorated rooms situated in magnificent indigenous gardens that just a short walk from the heart of the centre, where you will find our Farmhouse Restaurant and Country Pub.

From the restaurant you can enjoy views of the scenically beautifully Swazi mountains and ponder the sculptural towers rising from the lawn, a creative mingling from renowned performance venue and sculpture gallery House on Fire. You can stay connected with our centre-wide Wi-Fi service and browse the best in Swazi hand-craft and design in our retail stores. ‘A haven for kids’ the stone horse carousel and stretching games lawn is a favorite with the younger family members.

Loved every moment of my stay - magical place to say the least

“The staff were beyond incredible and made my stay absolutely incredible and made my stay absolutely wonderful. My suitcase went missing in an airport and a of Malandela’s staff spent hours in a taxi bringing it back to me. Now, that alone says a lot. The friendliness of the staff was outstanding, rooms were clean and the nature made me feel as if I was in a magical place. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.”

Great views at a relaxing place

“After checking in late in the afternoon made a walk around the garden surrounding the Malandela’s Guest House. Very tranquil and beautiful environment. Seeing sundown over the meadows and mountains in front of the restaurant is just great. Rooms are nice and clean, beds sleep well. Breakfast choice is rather limited (which is logical for a small place), but tasty and satisfying (went for the English type of breakfast).”

Très jolie guest house

“Nous avons passé une nuit au Malandela's entre l'océan indien et le Kruger. Les chambres sont grandes, propres et jolies. La piscine est agréable dans un grand jardin très bien entretenu. Le personnel est à l'écoute et coopérant. Le restaurant propose une carte variée.”

“Fabulous Breakfast! Staff willing to accommodate specific orders and the servings were generous. We will always stay at Malandelas’ - a true home away from home!

“ The whole guesthouse and facilities were amazing. The artwork, sculptures, shops and products were great. We had a lovely dinner, watching the sun set and listening to background music. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The English breakfast and coffee was a bonus. We will definitely be back!.”
